End of Another Summer

Jacob was sitting with me as I was looking at newborn pictures of Charity and asked, "Who is that?"   I answered him by saying, "This is Charity at the beginning of the summer and this is what she looks like at the end of the summer."   He couldn't quite grasp how she had grown so much in so little time.   Time does go by quickly and we are now looking forward to fall and winter.   Meaning, all our pictures will switch from fish to deer.

Charity's Dedication

August 28, 2011 -  Charity was dedicated at Sheridan Drive Baptist Church.   It has been such a joy to be able to have Laura here for all of our baby dedications.   How wonderful it is to have a Pastor that was willing to do it only 5 days in advance!

"And above all these things put on charity, which is the bond of perfectness."

Thanking God for Charity and looking to Him for His guidance as we raise her to love and serve Him.

We had fun with Laura in town last weekend.   Of course we had to get some pictures taken (I'll post some once Laura edits them).   I am posting the new pictures of the kids from White River.   We were able to spend some time at Orv and Nancy's with the Gauldins.   The kids loved it!   Here's a few new pictures...

A good start....

Luked turned 8 on the 21st of August and his Aunt Janice and Aunt Sarah scheduled him for special music.   The kids sang "Step by Step" and from it and Proverbs 16:9 came the title to this blog.    This blog is intended  to keep family and friends updated, mainly with photos.   It makes life easier and we won't have to email them to everyone separately.   

Luke turns 8 and Charity turns 3 months on his birthday!

Thanks to Grandpa Don and Grandma Donna he can now catch fish underwater with a net.

Grandpa and Grandma Perry are making sure he is well armed.

One of these will be added to the rest of the 3 mos old pictures of the kids on our wall.

I'm not sure if she is enjoying kisses from Daddy.
